The Brief of Sehzoor Life Organization (SLO) Mission SLO mission is to shoulder the costs in the pursuit of the eradication of societal ills including diseases complicated with poverty and hunger that have a negative impact on individual lives and our community as a whole. The Brief of Sehzoor Health Services Sehzoor Health Services program is an extension of SLO mission works in Liberia.
Location It will be located in Gompa (Ganta) City, Nimba County, Liberia to serve rural communities and the Guinea Forest Area residents and other centers or posts will be opened in other parts of the country.
Project Goal The Sehzoor Health Services is being initiated to improve the health and social wellbeing by establishing technology-driven healthcare system of collecting, interpreting, analyzing and transmitting relevant disease information to stakeholders in and beyond the country. Sehzoor Health Services will:
Establish the first youth and young adult sexual health center (s) or Post (s) in the country;
Support poor residents with chronic illness;
Lead in the prevention of public health conditions;
Ensure that childbearing is timely, free from complications and is successful;
Establish patient-focused integrated primary and clinical health care systems.
Sehzoor Health Services Objectives
To decrease teenage pregnancy though continuous mentorship and periodic sexual reproductive health (SRH) sessions;
To decrease inequality in health care and improve access to care;
To increase healthcare-seeking behaviors of residents through the provision of a range of preventative and curative services in rural Liberia, and surrounding countries;
To strengthen the focus of health promotion and prevention through education, screening, and early intervention.
Services Those services will include:
Youth and Young Adult care center;
Health promotion and prevention;
Maternal and child health services including family planning;
Diabetes, Dental and eyes services;
Education and management of parasitic and infectious diseases;
Peer counseling and treatment of HIV/Aids;
Home care programs including telephone follow-ups and health tips text messages;
Training, mentoring and incorporation of traditional healthcare methods into healthcare services;
Collaboration and partnership with other organizations for free and affordable healthcare services
